Poisoned histories make you copy the wrong address

Attackers send dust from addresses that visually resemble addresses you recently used. Wallets that sort by “recent activity” push the fake entry near your real counterparties.

Taproot and bech32 confusion

Similar prefixes and checksums can make casual eyeballing useless. Always compare full addresses or use payment requests (BOLT11 / silent payments where supported).
